Beaver Removal & Control in Southwest Missouri
Beavers can transform a property quickly. Dams can alter water levels, flood areas, affect roads and drainage, and create ongoing maintenance problems. For property owners with ponds and waterways, a beaver problem can become a property-management problem.
Beaver Problems Can Affect More Than Your Pond
The appropriate response depends on the location, water feature, surrounding property and extent of the activity.
- Rising or changing water levels
- Flooded areas
- Blocked culverts and drainage
- Damage around pond infrastructure
- Tree damage
- Access and road problems
- Ongoing maintenance concerns

Beaver Removal, Handled Right
Usually the first sign is water where it shouldn’t be: a pond running high, a low spot that’s suddenly flooded, a culvert that’s stopped draining. Beavers plug spillways and culverts, back water over timber and pasture, cut down trees, and dig into banks and dams. Left alone, a blocked spillway can put an earthen pond dam at real risk.
We remove the beavers, humanely and legally, using methods suited to the site and allowed under Missouri’s Wildlife Code. If your dam or bank needs repair afterward, we’ll show you what we found and point you to someone who does that work.
Before we start, you’ll get a straight assessment, a fixed price and a realistic timeline.
